1. Donation Refund Policy

At Prothisebha Social & Healthcare Foundation, we greatly value the generosity and support of our donors. We understand that donations are made in good faith and with the intent to support our programs. However, under specific circumstances, we may consider refund requests:

Eligibility for Refund:

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the donation date.
  • The donor must provide valid proof of donation (e.g., payment receipt, transaction ID).
  • Only donations made via the official channels (bank transfer, UPI, payment gateway on our website) are eligible for refunds.
  • Refunds will not be granted if funds have already been allocated or utilized for any project activities.

How to Request a Refund:

To initiate a refund, please email us at prothisebhasocialhealthcarefou@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Donation Amount
  • Date of Donation
  • Transaction ID / Payment Method
  • Reason for Refund

Our finance team will review the request and respond within 7 working days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.


2. Event or Program Sponsorship Cancellation Policy

In case of program sponsorships or specific event funding:

  • If an event is canceled by the Foundation, the sponsor may request a full refund or reallocation to another similar initiative.
  • If the sponsor voluntarily cancels their contribution before 10 days of the scheduled event, a 75% refund may be issued.
  • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the event are not eligible for refunds due to prior commitments and logistics.

3. Recurring Donation Cancellation

If a donor has set up a recurring monthly or annual donation, they may cancel it at any time by:

Please allow 5 working days for processing the cancellation. Any amounts deducted prior to the cancellation date will not be refunded.


4. Transaction Failures

If a donation or payment fails due to technical reasons and the amount is debited from the donor’s account without receipt confirmation:

  • The donor should notify us immediately with the transaction details.
  • If the payment is not received by our account, the donor is advised to contact their bank or payment gateway provider for a direct refund.

5. Policy Changes

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is subject to periodic updates. Any changes will be posted on our official communication channels. Donors are advised to review the policy periodically.
